To say that 2020 has been filled with surprises and challenges is an understatement! As we enter the second half of the year, it’s hard to fully appreciate how much has happened in those first six months. We believe it’s important to take some time to reflect on what this year has meant for our residents and teams. Yes, there is a great deal of uncertainty and we’re living through a challenging time. We want to focus on positive news and developments, though. Despite all that’s happened this year, we have a lot to celebrate and be thankful for.
As we reflect on the first half of 2020, we want to highlight three pieces of good news!
Celebrating Our Residents
The COVID-19 pandemic has touched every aspect of our lives, including how we live. As our communities responded to this pandemic and adjusted policies to ensure our residents, customers, guests, and team members remained healthy and safe, we were consistently inspired by our residents! We continued to connect with them virtually and they played a crucial role as our communities addressed the pandemic. Our teams continue to celebrate their resilience, patience, and understanding. We shared a special message to our residents in April and it still rings true today. We truly love our residents!
Recognizing Our Teams
Simply put, the amazing teams at all our Apartment Living communities have gone above and beyond this year! We were so happy to recognize outstanding team members at the HHHunt Apartment Living Awards in early March. Those winners help us realize our mission and inspire all of us to push ourselves. Members of our service teams, in particular, have pivoted to meet the needs of residents in this new reality. Our service teams continue to work daily and ensure a safe and comfortable environment at our communities. We want to give a huge shout out to all our team members for their ability to adapt in uncertain times and continue to deliver exceptional service to our residents. You are truly the best in the business!
New Communities and Continued Growth
At HHHunt, we’re committed to being a quality provider of products and services. We are always looking for new opportunities to expand existing communities or create new communities. This year has been no different. Abberly Square in Waldorf, MD continues to move ahead with Phase II of its community, which will add 80 new apartments, including many cottage-style apartment homes that offer private entry similar to a townhome or single-family home. We’re also at various stages on the development of four new Apartment Living communities in North Carolina. These new communities will offer a fresh perspective on luxury living!
As we look ahead to the remainder of 2020 and towards 2021, our commitment to our residents, team members, and customers remains the same. We’re focused on improving the world and how people live by creating meaningful experiences and places of great distinction.
