Enjoy Halloween At Our Apartment Communities

Who is ready for a scary good time when Halloween arrives next weekend? We are! Halloween is one of our favorite holidays because it’s a great way to celebrate and connect with neighbors. Our apartment home communities have a wide array of Halloween traditions, including Halloween parties, trick-or-treat parades, and traditional trick-or-treating.

As we all prepare for Halloween 2021, we’ve got three helpful tips from our team to ensure a great Halloween experience at our apartment communities. Of course, make sure to keep an eye out for updates and notes from the office team at your community too.

Get Festive

The first tip our team recommends is to get in the spirit! Halloween is supposed to be a fun night and it is a great time to relax with neighbors. Embrace it! Some of the best ways we see residents at our apartment communities get festive is by decorating their doors and balconies for Halloween and dressing up in costumes themselves. Halloween can be a fun night for kids and adults when everyone gets in the Halloween spirit.

Frightfully Fun Decorating

Another tip most of our teams shared was to decorate your apartment home! Similar to getting in the spirit, there are many wickedly creative decorating ideas to make Halloween feel special. Halloween decor doesn’t have to be costly or stressful either. Check out our blog from last year with some of our favorite DIY Halloween decorating ideas.

COVID Safety

We’re excited that there will be more Halloween celebrations this year compared to last year, but those festivities might still look different than what we’re all used to. That’s ok. It’s important that we all take the necessary steps to protect ourselves and follow local COVID-19 guidance. Regardless of where you live, we’ve got a few helpful rules of thumb for Halloween this year:

  • Participate in outdoor Halloween celebrations and trick-or-treating.
  • Consider leaving individually wrapped candy in a bowl or on a table outside your door.
  • Neighbors should say hi from their door and wave but remain socially distanced when possible.
  • Wear a mask when in or near crowds.

We also encourage you to review the CDC’s updated guidelines and resources for safer holiday celebrations.

At HHHunt, we believe it’s how you live that matters. We hope these Halloween tips help you enjoy holiday festivities in a fun and safe way. And remember, check out an HHHunt Apartment Living community if you’re searching for apartments to rent in Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, or Virginia!
