Let’s take a look at some of the areas we our communities are located and have been ranked among the best places to live.
DC Metro Area
The home to our nation’s capital, the Washington, DC metro area is a dynamic and vibrant region. It’s no wonder that the latest edition of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Places to Live” ranking named the DC region as a top place to call home. With high scores for the job market and quality of life, there is so much to do. From a wide array of restaurants, museums, performance venues, parks, and cultural sites to breathtaking natural beauty, there is literally something for everyone. The same is true about our four apartment communities in the region: Abberly Square in Waldorf, MD; Abberly Avera in Manassas, VA; Abberly Waterstone in Stafford, VA; and Abberly at Southpoint in Fredericksburg, VA.
As the home to Virginia Tech, Blacksburg attracts residents from across the globe. Many fall in love with the region’s stunning natural beauty among the Blue Ridge Mountains. Surrounded by mountains and a plethora of outdoor activities, including trails and the New River, it’s hard not to be awestruck. Livability recently named Blacksburg as one of the Top 100 Best Places to Live. In addition to the incredible scenery, they also noted “affordable housing options along with a robust downtown district, fantastic restaurants, boutiques, and entertainment venues.” We have two apartment communities – Foxridge and Hethwood – located in Blacksburg.
Virginia’s capital city has seen a renaissance in recent years with an explosion of breweries, top-rated restaurants, and new outdoor spaces. Add in amazing museums and a river that runs through downtown and you’ve got the pieces for a great place to live.
